Classical Studies for Guitar

Broad-based early tuition lays a solid foundation for lifelong enjoyment of music and music-making - and studies have long been an important building block in acquiring musical technique. Today the advanced guitarist can draw on a substantial existing repertoire of studies, though many ‘easy’ studies from the Classical and Romantic repertoire may still be found too challenging for beginners.
This publication brings together a collection of straightforward elementary studies that are ideal for the first few years of tuition. All relevant guitar techniques are covered, making this a useful complement to almost any guitar method.
Special emphasis has been laid on the inclusion of repertoire from the 20th and 21st Centuries, besides folk and pop tunes.
